Backend Engineer

About the Role

We're seeking a talented Backend Engineer to help us build robust, scalable systems that process and serve vehicle data to thousands of users daily. You'll work on critical backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.

Your work will directly impact the reliability and performance of our platform. You'll collaborate with frontend engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver features that matter to our users.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Knowledge of REST API design and best practices
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines

What You'll Do

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
• Optimize database queries and improve system performance
• Build data processing pipelines for vehicle information
• Ensure code quality through testing and code reviews
• Monitor system health and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with frontend team on API contracts
• Contribute to technical documentation and architecture decisions
